Isaac Marrero is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Pasadena Memorial. Small build has time fill out, has good present tools in the field. He posted an 8.58 in the 60 yard dash. Primary SS, he showed natural feel for the position and displayed clean footwork with good range. Hands are quiet and meets the ball out front showing very good glove skills on the move as well. Takes the right steps to approach and plays through the ball working downhill, transfer is smooth. Some strength gaps to fill in with the arm but he makes it works and is comfortable throwing at different angles. Also pitched, filled the zone with strikes and produced ground balls with just the fastball that topped out at 75 mph out of a 3/4 arm slot. Uses a chest high leg lift that is balanced and showed a live arm that was fluid. Looked very efficient making quick work with his appearance. Right handed hitter, has a spread stance that is open with a high hand set. Stays inside the ball well with some looseness in the hands. Showed a rotational swing that pulls the front side off. No established timing mechanism made the swing hard to repeat and loses the barrel. Like the loose swing when it gets across, just needs to emphasize being on time.
