Chaz McNelis is a 2023 MIF/3B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Green Valley. Great overall athlete, posted a 6.85 60 yard dash. Solid actions in the infield, agile with good range covering plays on either side. Short arm action and can work from different angles, transfer is clean with quick hands. Has time to make some arm strength gains, but good feel overall for the position. Left handed hitter, starts slightly open with a deep trigger load and creates good separation on time and fluidly. Hands are quick on a good swing plane, pulls his frontside off some pitches looking to pull it but flashed some pop when the barrel was found. Has the athleticism to project well on both sides of the ball. Great student.
