Owen Laessig is a 2024 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lincoln, NE who attends Lincoln East. Average size, lean frame. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. A middle infielder with smooth fundamental footwork, glove placement outfronnt with softer hands fielding the baseball, efficient lateral quickness, smooth transfer to throw and a solid average throwing arm with accuracy. Hit from a wide base with load stride timing at the plate. Developing ability to get the swing in sync with backside rotation, and a linear line drive type bat path with above average barrel speed thru the zone and some barrel control at the plate. Showed a three-pitch mix on the mound with a mid 70's fastball, developing mid 60's curve and a change-up that showed late drop to it and it his best present secondary pitch. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
