Robbie Maclellan is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Port Saint Lucie, FL who attends St. Lucie West Centennial. Medium athletic build. Right handed hitter, loads to his back side and tends to stay there, downhill slashing swing plane, best contact was to the pull side when he got the barrel out front, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and a better shift into contact. 7.90 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, fields the ball with 2 hands out front, has some quickness in his exchange and release, compact arm action, second base tools and profile. Took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery with a big hip turn over the rubber, bit cross body out front on release. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight, tends to pitch up in the zone. Slowed his arm and body on a soft curveball and change up. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
