2023 14U Deep South All-State Games
Kaden Walters is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Crossville, AL who attends Sardis. Walters ran an 8.23 sixty yard dash. Medium build With athleticism and some strength throughout with room for more going forward. Primary catcher with higher set hips while going down to a one knee setup through the middle. Quick glove to hand transfers with a long arm swing to a higher release. The throws had some cary across the infield with accuracy around the bases. Secondary Right handed pitcher with a little above hip height leg lift with athletic actions and repeats his operation well. Working with a straight over the top arm action there was some ease at release with some run through the zone with the fastball that peaked at 72mph. As his secondary showed a breaking ball with an 11-5 shape with tight spin and depth that he presented great feel for. Right handed hitter starts with a medium closed base with a leg lift trigger. He cleanly shifts the weight throughout the operation showing plenty of aggression within the hips. The hands start set on the shoulder as they move into slot showing a linear path through the zone with some quickness to the them. Walters is an excellent student in the classroom.
