Arvis Croll is a 2027 C/RHP/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Luella. Lean medium build with some wiry strength and more to come. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Showed fundamental actions in both the OF and INF. Athletic in the OF playing low and fast through with smooth shuffles and a solid arm that got off throws with carry and one hop accuracy. In the INF, feet played well gaining ground through while working with body control. Range laterally with sureness to the glove actions. Some inconsistent with accuracy on the dirt working with more effort to release causing a couple overthrows but with similar arm strength. Behind the plate, operates in a taller and open set up. Some quickness out the crouch but direction takes him into RH's batters box. Exchange happens a the mid-lower chest with an arm that got off strong + accurate throws to the 1B side of the bag. At the plate, operates from an even base and uses a medium leg lift trigger. Lower set tight hands to start. Efforty and rotational throughout the swing, showing an intent and approach to lift it. Consistent out front point of contact showing avg. bat speed and impact but flashed a bit of juice to the pull side. On the mound, works exclusively from the stretch and used an abbreviated leg lift just below the belt. Medium arm path in the back that accelerates well through a higher 3/4 slot. Some looseness to the operation with a slower cadence and pace. Worked the FB up to 83, living upper 70s. Mixed in an upper 60s, T70 slider he tended to backup and struggled to get out in front of. Quality strikes throughout his outing. Very good student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
