Joshua Johnson is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Back turn delivery with a short stride out front, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked up to 84 mph, worked his fastball aggressively early in counts and threw it for strikes. Change up was a solid second pitch for him with occasional big fading life, worked fastball/change up effectively at times. Mixed in an occasional sweeping curveball. Efficient strike thrower with three pitches, will keep improving as he adds strength and physical maturity. Excellent student.
