Thomas Antonio is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends West Springfield. Large, well-developed frame with present strength and a power-oriented look for a corner infielder type. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.68 seconds. Primary position 1B, moving well on his feet and showed comfort around the bag. Present the glove well, working through the plays as he secures the ball. Easy arm action throwing from multiple slots and reaching 79 mph on feeds across the diamond. Secondary RHP, using a chest high leg lift, getting down the mound well before accelerating through a lower-3/4 arm angle. Fastball up to 82 mph moving it effectively around the zone and using the arm side run to induce soft contact. Used a split-finger for his change up with sinking action that proved effective throughout. LHH with a medium well-balanced start with a good handset and good rhythm throughout. Heel lift trigger to get going and rips the barrel through with strong hands. Turns well and displays power to the pull side as he stays on the barrel. Comprehensive hit and power combination that should play well at the next level. Very good student as well.
