Michael Cepeda is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland High School. Tall and athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has an athletic delivery that he repeats well, gets downhill to the plate well, longer arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, creates good downhill angle on his pitches. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink and run down in the zone. Developing feel and spin on a soft curveball, tends to slow his arm into release. Good bet to continue to add velocity and throws fastball strikes, developing his secondary pitches will be key to his development. Very good student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
