Andrew McGowan is a 2022 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Hingham, MA who attends Hingham. Large frame with good physicality to the build. Ran a 7.39 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, waits back on the ball a bit with a short shuffle into receiving it; shows good hands and funnels it well to a clean arm action where he shows the ability to adjust arm slot on the move and get carry on throws across. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow; uses a longer swing with slight left to the path to get the ball in the air and generate carry to both gaps. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
