Jaxston Brown is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from College Park, GA who attends North Springs Charter. Primary OF with a lean young athletic build with some wiry strength and more to come. Fields it out front well and moves well to the ball with proper angles. Good technique and glove actions overall. Showed a quick transfer and release from a quick arm with good strength behind his throws. Fluid operations out in the field. Was up to 83 from the outfield with strong carry and accuracy behind throws. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot and working up to 77 with his fastball. Curve mixed in with healthy 1-7 shape and could drop it in for strikes. Showed a lot of confidence in his curve. Also ran a 6.72 sixty. Left-handed hitter with an upright stance starting slightly open. Uses a toe tap trigger for timing and rhythm. Good whippy hands with bat speed and controls the barrel well. Can match multiple planes and uses the entire field well. Produced an exit velo of 90. High end athlete with tools that should play on both sides of the ball. Good student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.
