Jackson Earnest is a 2025 UT/RHP, C, 3B, OF with a 5-7 147 lb. frame from Vinemont, AL who attends Cullman. He ran a 7.97 second sixty. A utility player with a young frame. In the outfield he showed a solid approach working into a short arm action with a quicker release showing developing arm strength. On the infield he works around the ball receiving the ball out front and transferring into a longer gather as he travels into the throw with better carry on the ball flight. Behind the plate he gains ground into the throws with developing foot speed as he transfers the ball into a short arm action making accurate throws. On the mound he showed the same short arm action getting some leg drive our for the lower half as he stays tall on the back side falling down the mound. The fastball sat 62-68 mph as he filled up the zone. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider stance and slightly open base, uses a toe tap trigger to get back to even with no hand movement in the load, the bat speed is still developing with the barrel working inside the baseball. Good student.
