Ryan Wilson is a 2028 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake. A lean frame with some strength throughout. Compact build with some room to keep filling out moving forward. Ran 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who worked out at the position, moving low to the ground and showing two hands out in front as he approached. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot working across the diamond, keeping the arm action pretty compact. He had a feel for the actions, throwing 69 mph across the diamond. He also worked out at first base with active footwork and some urgency to get the ball out and work through release. The glove works, and he keeps the arm action shorter, throwing 70 mph across the diamond. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with a spread and bent knee stance, staying slightly open as he sets up. He had a toe-tap trigger working into it with some present bat speed that showed during his round of swing. He was able to drive the ball to the middle of the field throughout his round. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during DK Testing. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who works from a semi-windup delivery, using tall-and-fall mechanics. He had an easy and repeatable delivery throughout his outing. He showed a shorter arm action, pitching from a three-quarters arm action. There was some athleticism to the operation. He had the fastball up to 70 mph, staying around the zone. Excellent student.
