Diego Ruiz is a 2025 OF/SS with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Primary Outfielder, features an athletic frame with room to add. Good mover on the outfielder grass, working through the baseball with the feet continuously moving toward the target while fielding out front. Over the top arm slot with quickness and strength (83 OF Velo) and accurate to both bags. Secondary shortstop with quick lateral movement while funneling with ease. Quick transfer to the throwing hand with an accurate arm across the diamond. Wide base at the plate with balanced feet and a leg lift trigger. Swing stays short/compact with a level path.
