Joephillip Guzman is a 2025 2B/RHP/UT with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Killeen, TX who attends Shoemaker. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 6,83 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense but showed the skills and tools to play all over the field. Has solid arm strength from both the infield and outfield and makes very accurate throws, light on his feet and fast to the ball, quick and sure hands fielding the ball, an asset on defense at any position. Right handed hitter, hits under control with a short stride into contact, nice direct swing with fast hands and some barrel whip, consistent line drive contact. Good student, verbaal commitment to Alabama State. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
