Douglas Davis is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Features a lean build iwth room to add. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Worked out at. First base. Moves well around the bag with feel for the position. Shows a calm gather into longer arm action release. Reached 83 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a toe tap timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path with a short finish. Approach stays through the middle of the field. More impact will come with additional strength and refined barrel accuracy. Right-handed pitcher. Shows a full windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics with a shorter stride. Hides the ball well with a short arm action into a high 3/4 slot. Has good intent down the mound. Fastball sat 82-85 mph with armside run. Still refining command consistency. Slider sat 68-72 mph with tight, tiling action. Can get hitters out front often. Flashed a changeup at 71-74 mph, showing the ability to kill spin well. Good student.
