Michael Jensen is a 2025 2B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Wharton. Long and lean build with square shoulders and a high waist, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.92 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, fields the ball out front, funnels into body and works into a shorter/compact arm action, some bend at the waist, takes long strides moving to the ball, works accuracy on throws across the diamond with an extra step into release. Also pitched, easy and simple delivery, similar short arm action through the back working to a lower three-quarters release, lands closed with strike foot and works across body at release. Hides the ball, fastball topped out at 64 mph, some sink at times and creates ground ball contact, tends to slow arm at release on curveball. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Loads hands back at start of swing, utilizes a short stride moving into contact. Keeps hands inside the ball, direct to the ball and works on a linear path, creates line drive contact to all fields, shows quickness, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength.
