Ian McNeill is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who is still undecided on his HS. Large and physical frame. Ran an 8.58 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a rocker step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a clean arm up to a high ¾ arm slot, easy delivery with repetition, could create more jump out of hand with additional lower half involvement down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph showing sinking action to it, will lower half arm slot at time for added deception, mixes in a changeup that showed as his best secondary offering, straight and deceptive pitch, loses some velocity from the stretch, good pickoff move. Secondary first baseman, young actions around the bag, throws from a low arm slot at the position getting under the baseball at release. Lefthanded hitter, open and narrow stance, strides in and swings with intent, barrel feel and flashes pull side juice when on time, simple and controlled swing.
