Braden Burroughs is a 2028 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Fellowship Christian. Lean, high-waisted frame with developing strength and plenty of projection remaining. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and fields it slightly off to the side. Generates momentum well into a low and whippy arm slot. Has plenty of present arm speed. Kept his throws online while recording arm strength up to 85 mph from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber. Lifts his front leg up to the belt and rotates well through his core. Separates into an inline arm path before accelerating into a high three-quarters arm angle. Fastball was located in all parts of the strike zone, ultimately peaking at 82 mph. Showed impressive feel for throwing his changeup which had good fading action to it. Mixed in a low-70s vertical breaker when ahead in counts. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright, open stance with a loose hand set-up. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a line drive stroke. Gets into his lower-half well and turns quickly to the point of contact. Has developing quickness in the hands with good barrel control. Produced consistent line drive impact to the opposite field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 7.64 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
