Tripp Swords is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Newborn, GA who attends Eastside. High waisted young athletic build with some present strength and lots more to come. Right handed hitter, starts in an open and spread stance with a big leg raise trigger, line drive swing plane with a dominant top hand, flashed some bat speed when he got into his hips and lower half. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, fields the ball with two hands out front, glove can be late getting down on the back hand, throws from a high arm slot with some young carry. Excellent student.
