Dylan Verdi is a 2027 C/RHP/IF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Jefferson, GA who attends Jefferson. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty yard dash time. Strong and long build with present strength and filled out lower half. Primary catcher works from a one-knee down set-up. Higher arm slot with solid transfer. Solid process and timing out of the crouch. Secondary infielder that fields up-the-middle of the body with a long arm action. Generating some carry and arm strength across. Has an idea with how to field and throw across with intent. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from the wind-up off to the first base side of the rubber. Slightly closed off and upright throughout operation. Belt-high leg lift into a high three- quarter arm slot and standard release height. Life to the fastball (2016 RPM) that was up to 82 and was mid-to-upper-70s throughout. Showed a slurvy curveball (1908 RPM) that can stay on top of more. The right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with a high back elbow and utilizes a small stride. Swings hard with solid connection to the lower half through load. Getting into the strong lower half and driving it back up-the-middle. On-time weight transfer with violent impact off barrel. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
