Cody Kiemele is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Perris, CA who attends Arlington. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, some present strength with additional room to fill. Left-handed hitter, begins with a side step moving into a leg lift up to belt; slight coil at top of leg lift and comes down the mound on time. Compact arm action through the back, works to a three-quarters release point and repeats operation/release very well. Pounded the strike zone with three pitch mix and struck out 6 over 2 innings of work. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, firm out of the hand and comes out cleanly. Slider up to 80 mph with flashes of late darting life, sells it well with excellent tunnel and flashed a changeup at 81 mph which was also landed for a strike. Refined on the mound with feel to mix and pitch. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Arizona State.
