Bryan Mesa is a 2028 SS/2B with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Outstanding young athletic build with some present strength and big physical projectability. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide base with good balance and rhythm into his swing, creates easy bat speed with some lift, can get a bit tight with his hands but drives the ball hard and loud when he gets extended, big projection as a hitter. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth actions and takes good angles to the ball, hands really work well, easy quick transfers, plenty of arm strength, plus game play charging the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
