Julio A. Gonzalez is a 2027 SS with a 6-2 189 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Miami Sunset. Strong and athletic build with some physical projectability remaining. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up similar from both sides in a medium straight stance, has nice rhythm in his hands from both sides and is well timed, has strength, lift and bat speed from both sides, left handed swing is especially fluid and smooth, showed good power from the right side, very intriguing overall hitting tools. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has fast hands and glove work, easy quick exchanges, some feel for his footwork and angles to the ball, showed plenty of arm strength when on top of the ball with a long arm swing but shortened and dropped his slot well on the move. Nice all around balance of tools and skills. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
