Jaden Padilla is a 2027 C/UT with a 5-7 190 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Apple Valley. Featuring a strong, compact frame, the primary catcher began the showcase running an 8.30 sixty yard dash. Squared up setup behind the plate, looking comfortable. Good receiver with developing feet and chest high transfers. Short arm action and made the throws on second base side of the bag. Wider base at the plate with high hands, high back elbow and slight leg lift load. Balanced operation with a level barrel path and middle of the field approach. Has present bat speed that lead to some barrels, staying on a line throughout the round. Great Student.
