George Malone is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Fresno, TX who attends Bo Porter Academy. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a right knee down stance, has nice hands and receives the ball well, quick exchange and makes very accurate throws, gets on top of his throws well with on line carry, has the athleticism to play catcher at his height. Also worked out in the infield but is best suited to behind the plate. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up from a wide base left handed, has a long and aggressive swing, shorter and narrower from the right side with more of an inside path, more bat speed right handed. Good student, verbal commitment to UC Santa Barbara.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
