2026 PG Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Joshua Ojeda is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends Home school. Long and wiry athletic build. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense who also has potential on the mound. Infield, smooth mover in space, average arm across, accurate throws, athletic actions and comfortable in space, very athletic slow roller and and handled the spot well in drills. Right-handed pitcher, stretch only from the first base side, bit of a coil at the top of the belt high leg lift, arm works well, straight change shown without tons of separation off the fastball, various shapes with the slider shown and is developing consistency for his off-speed and breaking arsenal, short strider and closed landing, flashed command of the fastball to either side of the plate, 1.20 to home with runners on first, good chance to develop. Right-handed hitter, wide base, high hands and high back elbow, knee lift trigger, small hand load with average bat speed, best contact the other way with deeper contact points. Good physical projection. Excellent student. Named to the PG Preseason High School Showcase Top Prospect List.
