Yabriel Rivera is a 2024 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-9 141 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Reborn Christian Academy. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has active feet and good quickness coming to the ball, has confidence in his hands and fields the ball cleanly out front, second base arm action and arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an open bent knee stance with a short and simple timer and trigger, high contact approach with mostly pull line drive approach, top hand is strong at contact, bat speed will keep improving with additional strength and physical maturity. Also took a turn on the mound, has a side step hands over head delivery with a pause at the top, very compact arm action with a short stride out front, repeats his mechanics well. Worked with a mid-70's fastball to go with a soft mid 60's curveball, threw lots of strikes with both pitches and challenged hitters. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
