Nicholas Martinez is a 2025 SS/BHP/OF with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Hialeah Educational Academy. Medium frame with lean current build and wiry strength the plenty of room to add more strength. Ran the 60-yard dash in a solid 7.02 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing solid mechanics and well developed footwork as he moves well on the clay. Clean and smooth glove work with crisp pop in the glove as he secures the ball confidently. Solid transfer to standard arm path creating throws up to 75 mph with some carry and on point. Right handed batter, using an upright stance and good handset a bit tight to the torso. Simple trigger allowing him to get on time and presents a compact direct stroke to impact. Excellent all fields approach, working gap-to-gap. HItterish actions and will only get better with added physicality. Elite performer in the classroom as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
