Utilized a high leg kick into a direct path down the mound. Has a slight hitch in the stride on the way down. Still stays in-sync on a majority of pitches. Short arm action out of an overhead slot hides the ball fairly well. The fastball sat in the upper-70’s, topping out at 81 mph. The offering should some ride when thrown to the top of the zone. It was paired with a low-60’s curveball that showed 11-5 action. The offering showed solid depth when spun well. Also flashed some feel for a changeup that sat in the low-70’s. Still developing feel and movement on the pitch. Has the ability to throw it for strikes. Solid three-pitch mix overall with the ability to get ahead of hitters. Arm strength translated to the outfield. Threw 89 mph during defensive workouts. Longer arm action produced strong carry through the target. Still refining defensive actions in the outfield. Utilized an aggressive approach with good momentum into throws. Could transition into throws quicker. Would help arm play more in-game. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Very good student.
