2024 World Showcase
Alejandro Abreut is a 2024 1B/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically. Left handed hitter, hits under control with a short and well timed stride into contact, gets good separation, short and smooth stroke for his size, mostly pull side line drive contact, creates some barrel whip, projects well as a hitter. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, is comfortable around the bag with good footwork and balance, plenty of arm strength for the position, lowers his arm slot comfortably. Also worked out in the outfield and while his actions are young there are plenty of tools there to play at the corners in the future. Re-classified from the 2025 class. Outstanding student, signed with Florida Atlantic. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
