Chase Andress is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Wharton. Tall lengthy frame. On the mound, he delivers with chest high kick and long in line arm action. Length of the levers create natural angles to the running low 80's fastball. Curveball has soft two-plane break and was landed frequently for strikes. Change has promise with subtle arm side fade. At first base, size presents big target for infielders. Feet work well coming off the bag for the size. Short quick release was accurate to both bases. Left handed hitter, wide base and high back elbow. Uses the mechanical advantages the frame presents. Stride creates decent separation, turned the barrel over comfortbaly and pounded a couple of balls to the pullside. Huge projection on both sides. 7.41 60-yard. Great student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
