Dyllan Curthoys is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Willow Canyon. Ran a 7.69 60 yard dash. On the mound, pitches out of the stretch with a lot of funk in the delivery. Short submarine arm action that's quite deceptive. His fastball was up to 70 and had some sinking action to it. Pairs with a floater changeup that he throws with similar arm speed. Generates a lot of weak contact and throws a ton of strikes. Slightly open stance at the plate with a bit of an inside out swing. Swing stays mostly compact and on plane. Can under the ball a bit to generate power.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
