Peter Visconti is a 2025 C/3B, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from Gurnee, IL who attends St. Joseph. Primary C with a strong athletic build. Starts out of the crouch and gains ground through the plate popping up quickly. Clean footwork out of the crouch with compact arm action. Has a quick arm and made throws with good strength and accuracy. Smooth actions behind the dish. Recorded a 1.96 pop time. Also played infield and profiles well on the corner. Moves well laterally for his size with clean glovework actions. Took nice angles to the ball with a clean gather to chest. Was up to 84 from the infield. Also ran a 6.99 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base starting slightly open. High hand set with a coiled bat load. Has a short swing and is direct to the ball staying on plane through the zone well. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. Has quick hands and could spray the ball all over with authority. Good impact off the barrel. Body is fully in sync in the box and has a really good rhythmic swing to it all. Good student. Named to the TP List.
