Pierce Anderson is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Madison-Ridgeland Academy. Young, athletic look to him with a ton of time to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves around with good fluidity to the actions, quick feet working through the gather, fields the ball with one hand off to the side of the frame. Full arm swing to a high three-quarters release, developing arm strength but should continue to get better as he adds strength. Recorded throws up to 78 mph from the outfield. Secondary left-handed pitcher, works from the full delivery, side steps to a belt high leg lift, drop and drive lower half mechanics. Front foot lands directly inline with the plate, works over the front side well and creates backspin on the fastball from his higher release point. Fastball got up to 75 mph, spin rates up to 1710 RPM and mixed in a curveball with bigger shape in the low-60s, spin rates up to 1701 RPM. Also worked out at first base and showed good bounce off the bag and athleticism. Still developing arm strength but was very accurate. Recorded throws up to 75 mph. Switch hitter, medium feet with slightly open front side stance from both sides, looked a lot more comfortable from the right side in BP. Fluid barrel, short and simple swing with a line drive approach from the right-side, left-handed swing showed a linear path, front side came open a little early causing him to lose some barrel speed.
