2025 PG Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Caden Lenzi is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 188 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Lassiter. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Primary left handed pitcher with two-way potential, has a short arm action and throws from a 3/4 slot. Ran a 3-pitch mix, fastball topped 83 and ran fairly straight, has been up to 87 in previous event and showed more arm strength in fielding drills. Mixed with a sharp breaking slider (1800 spin) and a fall off the table change-up (1400 spin). Threw 3 innings allowing 1 run and collecting 4 Ks. Secondary first baseman, has soft hands and a good feel for the position. Strong arm with a full stroke, ran it up to 90 across the diamond, very athletic and plays position well. Hits from the left side, starts in a balanced stance and a spread base with his hands high. Short stride with a heavy barrel through the zone, hands work quick and stay tight with good extension, plenty of power potential. Good student. Named to the PG Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
