2022 Lone Star Showcase
Ashton Arredondo is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland High School. Arredondo works from a medium projectable build with plenty of time to fill out and physically develop as a '26 prospect. As a primary 1B, he showcased natural actions and athleticism with quick clean transfers and soft hands. He kept the arm action compact and produced accurate throws across the diamond up to 76 mph. In the OF, the young arm strength continued to show as Arredondo remained on top of the ball and worked downhill effectively. On the mound, he displayed a simple repeatable operation and consistently worked the outer half of the dish to righties. He pitched to contact with a developing CB/CH off speed arsenal. Offensively, the right handed hitter started from a narrow even stance with a high hand set, effectively shifting the weight into contact to generate middle of the field line drive impact. He created carry and backspin on the baseball and posted an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 7.64 sixty yard dash.
