Bear Calvo is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends La Mirada. Athletic build with good projection left and blend of strength present in frame. Primary infielder with sound hands. Smooth transfers and accurate arm fro multiple slots. Changed hands well in game and moved all over the diamond, looks comfortable with fluid actions and up the middle footwork stood out. Right-handed hitter, wide base with balanced high hand set and hanging leg trigger. Great move forward works in rhythm, fluid right-handed swing and pure stroke that lifts balls to the pull side. Big bat speed and separation with barrel lag through the zone, comes off loud at impact and can spray it to all fields. Very hitterish look in the box with good plate coverage, can turn and burn to pull or go the other way. Loads to like, named to Top Prospect list.
