Brendan Lewis is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-10 173 lb. frame from Oradell, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Medium overall build with nice strength and overall physicality. Primary position RHP, working from an offset stance and on the 1B side of the rubber. Steps in front of the rubber to begin transition to balance and gets to a strong position over the rubber. Starts hands high and drops hands to the belt to separate as he turns inwardly slightly to load in transition down the slope. Arm is quick in the back and is inline with his core working through a high 3/4 angle. Works aggressively through his front side to create rotation and will get a bit quick from time to time moving horizontally across the front. FB has some hop and profiles as a power pitch as it sat in the 81-83 mph range. Vertical working CB in the low-70's showing tight spin and ability to be a swing and miss pitch. Secondary position IF with decent actions and emerging glove work. Foot work creates good angles and will get much better with time as he adds quickness to his first step. Arm played well and fairly accurate as it produced velocity up 81 mph across the field. Switch-hitter working from an even balanced stance from the right side. Works heavy on his backside and created easy loft with solid power projection. Best contact was when he was on time and stayed in the middle of the field. From the left side the swing was a bit longer and less refined. Needs more time from this side for it to project to the next level but there is plenty of time. Very good student with the potential to have two-way impact longterm.
