Keith Head is a 2007 RHP/SS with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Whitby ON, who attends Henry Street H.S. He has a mature build and very good present strength for his size. Head has a compact arm action and a tight 3/4's release point. His arm works smoothly with little tension and minimal effort at release. He uses his lower body well in his delivery and stays on line to the plate. Head's fastball topped out at 85 mph and had some late running life to it. His curveball was a good pitch at 67 mph, with a short, sharp break to it. He also threw a couple of 74 mph change ups. Head is maxing out his physical ability with a sound delivery, has an idea how to use his pitches and does a good job throwing strikes. He can be a successful pitcher at the next level.
