2025 PG Northern California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Evan Silva is a 2028 OF/LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Lathrop, CA who attends Junipero Serra. Big and strong young athletic build with some physical projection remaining. Left handed hitter, sets up in a wide base with a short hanging leg raise timer, turns hard and has strength and present bat speed, got his power well and hit some bombs in batting practice, high ceiling offensive potential. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good athletic actions to the ball and works through it well, quick release with good footwork, makes accurate one hop throws with some young arm strength to continue to develop. Also pitched, works from a semi-wind up delivery, compact arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, could use his lower half more moving down the mound, some energy at release. Fastball was in the upper 70's with slight arm side life. Slider was his best pitch with tight spin and some bite, showed feel for landing the slider and created bad swings from left-handed hitters. Excellent student. Named to the PG Northern California HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
