Cal Leighton is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Athletic, medium build with some present lean strength on the frame. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, tad rushed out of the crouch, accurate throws with low 80's arm strength, best pop time recorded at 1.94, gamelike actions with clean release and some carry, solid round and repeats well. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands, high back elbow, long stride out, lunged in at times, some present bat speed to work with and develop, hit well in game with 89 and 91-mph exit velocity knocks.
