Eathen Rush is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Arizona College Prep Erie. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a smooth 6.55 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, works well into the baseball with a quick first step. Clean gather to the side and carries weight well into release. Fluid arm stroke and was up to 89 mph with accuracy. Fundamentally sound with instincts present. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, side-step to a higher lift out of the windup. Stays balanced before driving down the hill. Full arm swing to a higher three-quarter slot release. Feel to spin the baseball and mixed it up well during his outing. Fastball up to 86 mph with spin rates up to 2114 rpm. Worked all four quadrants with it. Real sharp curveball with 11-to-5 bite in the low-70's with spin rates up to 2748 rpm. Will double up and was an out pitch for him. Rounded arsenal off with slider showing slight lateral break in the low-70's with spin rates up to 2130 rpm. Projects on the mound going forward. Left-Handed Hitter, even to start with an open front side. High hands before striding out while they sink. Short path to the baseball looking to get inside of it. Middle of the field approach with table setter type mentality. Barrel control present and will add more pop with a physical weight gain. Great Student. Named to National Uncommitted Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
