Alan Warren is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Hazlet, NJ who attends Raritan. Lean, high-waisted frame with long levers and plenty of room to add more strength as he continues to physically mature. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a quick and compact delivery with a high leg lift up to the chest. Separates the hands at the letters and into an inline arm path. Releases the baseball from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph; struggled with command at times but proved to be effective when in the zone. Mixed in a more traditional low-70s breaking ball with good depth and a bit of two-plane tilt. Changeup killed tons of spin while showing late fade. Projects for an uptick in velocity with added strength. From the infield, stays light on the feet as he works through the baseball. Allows the ball to get deep at times and shows the glove a bit late. Has softness in the hands with plenty of quickness in the arm. Released the ball from a true three-quarters slot. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 79 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow and compact high hand set-up. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into a direct on-plane stroke. Remains short to the baseball and repeats his swing mechanics fairly well. Created line drive impact to all parts of the field during his batting practice round. Can get overextended through the zone at times. Posted an exit velocity of 72 mph. Ran a 4.11 sec thirty-yard dash. Excellent student.
