Tristan Yarrington is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Dickerson, MD who attends Poolesville. Long and very lean build, narrow features. Primary shortstop on defense, step by step actions through the ball, has a long and loose arm action and is accurate throwing from lower slots, can make the routine play. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a busy hand load, strides closed and is opposite field oriented in his swing approach, repeats his mechanics and timing well, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, tucks his leg close to his chest to start his delivery, compact arm action, stays on line to the plate well. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, gets some cutting action at times, still developing feel for spinning the ball, threw strikes. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
