Jacob Laudati is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Berkley, MA who attends Bishop Stang. Large, well-proportioned frame with physical look to it. Primary right-handed pitcher that works from a simple, repeatable delivery with good rhythm and tempo to it. Abbreviated windup with good lower half usage, positive stride length and extension through release. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 80 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Confident strike thrower that pounds the zone with his fastball, commanding it well to both sides of the plate and expanding up when ahead in the count. Attacks the zone despite lack of secondary offering, will continue to improve with additional velocity and development of second pitch. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, narrow stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and small outward stride to contact. Pull-side intent with rotational lower mechanics and open front side. Slightly elongated swing plane with short through the zone barrel path, developing bat-to-ball skills and some compact bat speed. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and refinement. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
