Aiden Matyas is a 2025 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Southwest Florida Christian Ac. Tall, lean frame with a lot of strength to project onto the body. Good runner, ran a 6.84 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, has athletic actions with fluid footwork working around grounders, two hand funnel out front, long arm swing to a high release point. Ball comes out of the hand well with carry across, recorded accurate throws up to 79 mph. Projects well on the left side. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps to a belt high lift in the windup, full arm swing in the back to a high three-quarters slot, fastball sat in the low-70s and plays true. Mixed in a curveball with 11-5 shape in the low-60s. Also worked out in the outfield, fundamentally sound actions with deliberate movements getting to the baseball, fields it with one hand on the side of the body, long arm swing to a higher release, true flight on accurate throws to both bags, recorded throws up to 79 mph. Right-handed hitter, even base with high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, knee lift trigger stride, has good balance throughout the swing, flashed ability to impact to the pull-side with strength. Good student.
