Tommy Abbatemarco is a 2026 OF/3B/MIF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Barrington, IL who attends Barrington. Taller frame with a longer lower half and room to keep filling out. He has a wider base in his frame. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who took longer and more aggressive strides to the ball, fielding it closer to his body, slightly off to the side. He was clean with the glove and had an uphill path on his throws at 84 mph from the outfield, working through it well. Shorter arm action that also showed on the dirt while working out as an infielder. He had developed footwork with carry across the diamond, staying lower and wider as he made the play out front and funneled into the throw. Threw 81 mph across the diamond. He's a right-handed hitter who has a broader base with slightly open feet in his stance. His hands are higher to the body with the back elbow up. He shifts back to load and raises the heel as he does so. Showed an uphill path through contact with some strength to to impact. His best contact came when working pull-side with a rounder path through it. Took a strong round of BP overall. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a base knock in-game as well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
