2024 Sunshine West Showcase
Jason Dunham is a 2026 SS/RHP with a lean 6-0 160 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.07 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop that pitches as well. At the plate he showed the ability to barrel up the baseball using a short, compact stroke with a direct path to contact. Had a mature approach and was able to use the whole field and create some leverage to backspin balls in the gaps. On the dirt, Dunham made the required plays and throws working confidently through the ball delivering firm accuracy across the diamond. He profiles more at a corner infield position. On the mound he features a 4-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) out of a 3/4 slot. Shows fundamentally sound mechanics with a repeatable delivery. Dunham relies on location to produce outs along with the 4-pitch mix he can throw for strikes. Worked two innings striking out two. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
