Eli Porter is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Dover, KY who attends Mason County. Medium, lean build with more strength to project on in the near future. Good runner, recorded a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, higher leg lift, stays balanced throughout, loose fluid arm stroke to a three-quarters slot. Fastball has straight, riding life out of the hand and commands it well to both sides, up to 85 mph (2090 RPM). Curveball had consistent 1-7 shape and depth, up to 74 mph (2080 RPM). Induced a ton of weak contact and attacked the zone early. Right-handed hitter, starts in a spread stance, simple weight transfer into contact, works gap to gap with good hand speed and some power to the pull-side gap. Creates backspin regularly and is a strong player with feel for the barrel. Secondary outfielder, has athletic movements, fields the ball off to the side with one hand, works through ground balls, carries momentum into throws. Transfer is clean and efficient, has good arm speed and was accurate around the bag. Recorded throws up to 85 mph. Excellent student. Named to 2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
